I have 50 cc wasp and for the most part I love it. I had looked at buying an echo but it only has the 8 inch wheels. My wasp has 12 inch. I figured many cars only have 13 inch so 12 isn't too bad. I do wish it had just a bit more power so I could maintain speed going up hlls though. Hopefully in another year or so I will be able to upgrade to a 150cc or 250cc but for now this one gets me back and forth to work quite well and gives me and my husband the opportunity to enjoy touring around the back roads and the lakes etc for some inexpensive summer fun on day trips. We love it!!

I'm not so much wanting to go faster. Although 30 mph is not enough.
I'm looking to get to 30 quicker, without gravity assist....
Got any tips?

If you disconnect the pink wire from the CDI unit......gently, do not cut the wire. This is the (forget the exact word) thing that limits your acceleration. If you were to order a new performance CDI it is missing that wire.
Hope that helps

Safer is the way to go. Bigger wheels and an automatic helmet.

My Piaggio NRG mc2 DD (50 cc) is "flying" with 80 - 90 km/h (50 - 56 mp/h) speed. But I want to go a little bit faster. Something about 100 - 110 km/h.

I'm on a quest to find out how to keep the noise level down on my modified Derbi Atlantis while boosting the performance. At both the intake and exhaust, there must be ways to keep the noise at near stock levels while greatly improving the breathing of the little beasts. Anyone have any tips?
